James, Marroquin & Orozco to Headline January 23 Show

On January 23, 2009, from the Mesquite Rodeo in Mesquite, Texas, FOXX 68 SPORTS presents an exciting fight card showcasing some of the best of North Texas boxing talent.  Among those on the bill are Ft. Worth favorite, the popular Jose Orozco (1-0, 1 KO), the talented Roberto Marroquin (5-0, 4 KO’s) and fighter / promoter, Derrick James (21-7-1, 12 KO’s).

Orozco is a multiple time Ft. Worth Golden Gloves winner and a thrill-a-minute warrior.  Marroquin was one win away from being a 2008 United States Olympian and recently fought on the undercard of the Oscar De La Hoya-Manny Pacquiao bout.  Derrick James, head of Foxx 68 Sports, is a 1992 United States Olympic Trials finalist and is coming off an impressive 3rd round KO in May of 2008, at Fair Park.

2008 U.S. Olympian, Luis “Latin Legend” Yanez is also scheduled to appear, to sign autographs.
